Ceramic Pro Superior / Detail & Dash

On the morning of my scheduled appointment I received a call that they had extra time available in the day and that I could drop my car off in the morning as opposed to the early afternoon as scheduled which was great as the car being ready earlier did work with my schedule. My original appointment was from 1-5PM. I dropped my car off around 11AM instead. An hour or two later I received a text with a review of my cars condition and recommended services. After reviewing I responded back agreeing to all recommendations even some that I had not originally planned on. This being the first detailing of this vehicle I was excited for it to be extremely clean and shiny. Dropping off 2 hours early I had assumed it would be ready earlier than 5PM (though they never said this so I don’t hold it against them and did not factor it in to my rating) and that I’d receive a call or text upon its completion. Receiving none, I went there just before they closed at the original finish time of 5PM as I pulled up I got a text my car was done. Not sure I would’ve been able to pick up my car at all if I got there after 5 as this wasn’t discussed at drop off. Because it was closing and because I had errands to run I did not go through an inspection with one of their employees which, fully to their credit, was offered to me at pick up by the gentleman at the desk. I keep the exterior of my car fairly clean with frequent car washes so from the outside, nothing struck me as any different than when I’d dropped it off which was a bit disappointing as I had thought the 6-month ceramic would have given it a bit of smooth shine. Anyway, I did check it out a couple hours later upon returning home and was a bit disappointed. Where a dealership emblem had been stuck but removed a few days prior there was glue and dust in that outline as if it wasn’t touched at all. For clarity, the glue came off with just a bit of elbow grease and scraping with a rubber edge so not necessarily out of scope of work you’d consider for a full detail. Additionally, though I paid a mandatory pet hair removal fee for pet hair present in the cargo area from my friends dog, there was still remnant pet hair in this area. Please keep in mind this dog has only been in my car once or twice so this was not a significant amount of hair to start with. I would go on to find that in the nooks and crannies of my gear shift crumbs and debris were still left behind and in more obvious areas around the cup holders sticky spots I believe to be dried coffee or soda which was a surprising miss on their part. These interior oversights coupled with an underwhelming exterior made me question the value for the price paid. I’d like to end with the positive. Though there were some definite misses that I felt made the value for price paid lackluster, my car had a much cleaner interior than it did to begin with which was the most important reason I was getting the detail. The seats were conditioned reminding me of when I first bought my car. The dust and body oils that had been on the dash and radio screen were gone and the Weathertech floor liners were spotless. You also are given a goodie bag left in your car which I thought was a nice touch and those things can go a long way in giving your customer a good impression. Additionally, the customer service I received pre-drop off and at pick up was extremely friendly and truly seemed committed to providing a high level of service. A quality that is extremely hard to come by in today’s workforce and the world in general. Overall, I’d say I was just a bit underwhelmed and maybe my expectations were too high or perhaps it was just an off day at the shop. The employees were very personable, and flexible with my schedule. They also give you a price estimate before they get started so you aren’t surprised with the cost. They are very respectful about staying in your price range.
