Great price and no pressure from Miles who did the estimate . Michael the painter was great and went the extra mile and even gave me a few tips. They were able to expedite the scheduling of my paint job which was much appreciated due to moving. However, the final paint job left many see through areas, unpainted patches, and painters tape on trim. Tim was very professional and explained the process to me, agreed the trim and doors didn’t need painting (didn’t try to upsell) and said the job would take about 3 or 4 days. The price was competitive and less than other companies. I decided to go with CertaPro because I liked Tim. Julio, the project manager, along with Allen and Jaime were fantastic. They were kind, professional, respectful of me and my home and got the job done on time. The painting itself looks wonderful. All air vents/grilles, hardware and draperies were removed and replaced as promised. We had a negative experience and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your painting needs. We feel like the estimator/salesperson, Miles, lied to and/or misled us about the quality of workmanship that would be put into the project. Given that we have an old house that most likely has lead paint in early coats, we paid extra for the team to follow lead safe practices and take care in prepping the house to be painted. The team did a poor and rushed job on the prepwork, leaving many areas with loose, peeling, and chipped paint, which they proceeded to paint over. When I brought this up to the project manager, he said “oh yeah that’ll peel right off.” He said he would bring the team out to fix the poorly prepped areas but they did a slapdash job of that also. He tried to justify the poor work by saying that they couldn’t use sanders because of the lead paint, which we had explicitly paid them extra to work around. In the end, the job CertaPro did was not nearly worth the relatively high price they charged and working with them was constantly frustrating because there was such a disconnect between the estimator, management team, and painting crew. There is a list of other smaller complaints I have, like leaving unsealed containers of paint around the property or getting paint on doorknobs, but if you want my advice, avoid hiring CertaPro. —– Author: Holiday MusicMotel Rating: 5/5 Date: 5/22/2024, 5:28:12 PM Review: CertaPro (Jose and his team) did an AMAAAAZING job! The time they took to properly prep things I am certain is the reason why it’s holding up so well! Workmanship was meticulous. Showed up when they said they would. Worked through the weekend to get it done (unheard of in this current work climate!!!). No crafty moves upselling us once the project began; the price quoted was the price we paid. 100% happy with CertaPro! They also coated my porch and a garage step using the rust- oleum citadel floor finishing system which looks like an epoxy finish. It looks wonderful. Would use them again for a large job. I’m taking off one star as their pricing is expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. I particularly enjoyed dealing with Alan as their sales person.
