Review: After building our home in 2009, and using this company for all our windows, we had a very large 6×6 window to become unsealed. Now, it’s covered in little white specks between the two layers of glass. When I tried to get the company to replace the window, under warranty, they conveniently didn’t make the same color of glass. I was told I’d have to use a green tint while all the windows next to it, and throughout our house, are a bronze tint. So, nothing was done. We recently decided to enclose a screen porch, which would most likely need about 8 windows. I decided to go back to ASWD to look at window designs. The sales lady made me feel like I was a bother to her, so I got some information and left. She just really didn’t act like she cared to help me. But…. I decided to overlook it and keep my project moving forward. The next day, I called to ask the sales lady a question. I was told she had a customer and that she would call me back. I left my number. That was two weeks ago. So, evidently, I read her right. She really didn’t care to help me or work with me. I guess 8 windows wasn’t a big enough order for the company. Today, I went to Shreveport thinking I would go to the ASWD store over there. Maybe, a sales person would be more interested. Drove the 40 miles only to find the store had been closed. The building was empty. Now, I was really frustrated. I decided to bite the bullet and call the Longview store, thinking I could ask for a different sales person. I did explain that I didn’t want the same lady because of what I wrote above. So a man came onto the phone, and just like the lady, he really didn’t act eager to help. He wanted me to just tell them the sizes and how many – when what I really wanted was help deciding on a style of window that would be best suited for the room. They’re supposed to be the experts, right? He didn’t offer to help me in any way except for me just to tell him what I wanted. I’m done with them. I told him I’d drive to “frickin” Dallas before I choose to work with them. Zero stars. And my large window looks awful. They advised me to call a glass company. Horrible service.
