Dripping Auto Pros

I brought my brand new Tesla Model Y in August 2023 for their 5-Year Ceramic Coating Package, which included ceramic coating, tinting, and “three-step paint correction.” When first I picked up my car from them, there were still bird-dropping etchings on the hood that they claimed were a “factory paint defect”—a claim later disproven by another shop that successfully corrected it. The windshield tint had a large crease and hazy streaks, which they later tried to fix but also had problems. The hazy streaks were blamed on “Tesla glass”. I eventually had to go to another shop, which identified the hazing on all windows as heat gun damage from improper application. This second shop replaced all the tint and it looked great, confirming Dripping Auto Pros’ poor workmanship. When I told Ken about this, he said they had since realized their tint brand had issues and they had moved to a new brand. There were issues with the ceramic coatings, too. They missed water spots left under the glass before coating, high spots on the top glass, and bad application on one of the doors. Again, another shop had to fix all their mistakes at my expense. The worst part was the lack of accountability. They consistently made excuses—blaming factory defects, Tesla’s glass, or the tint brand—and only admitted fault after I provided proof from other professionals. While they eventually offered partial refund on the windshield tint and offered to do other fixes, I lost all trust and patience. In the end, I had to redo almost all their work elsewhere. For the price and what should have been premium service, this was a bad experience. Even helped me jump start my car with a dead battery! Update: Just had the headlights restored on my vehicle. They look brand new!, I should’ve done this long ago. Great price and service – I highly recommend.
