Precision Auto Glass and tint

I called around to get quotes as I’m a college student and George was extremely nice on the phone and offered a super decent price compared to others, only issue was that Albany is a little bit of a drive for me. I scheduled and made the drive and when I got there George informed me the tint is going to be a lot more difficult than expected due to the damage. He said a quote it a quote and kept true to his word with the original price, but the labor took almost 3 hours more than expected (which was no problem to me to wait). I took my 2022 RAV4 to get the front windshield tinted which needed to be redone because they did a terrible job the first time. I just got the car back last night and it’s throwing SRS Airbag Codes, Hybrid System Malfunction warnings and multiple other alerts. The car is in limp mode and needs to be taken to a dealership to get fixed. It has been meticulously maintained, has less than 30k miles and prior to drop off never had any issues whatsoever. The interior reeks of either cigarette or vape from his 5 hours with the car and will need to be taken to a detailer to be deodorized. Communicating with George was also a nightmare. He left water spots all over my hood (I wash this car at least once a week, oil changes every 3,000 miles). I’m disgusting by the state of the job and lack of respect for me and my property. DO NOT GO HERE. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO. THE CHEAPER PRICE IS NOT WORTH YOUR HEADACHE. I don’t even know how he managed to break a Toyota but he did, especially when the service was window tint. What’s even crazier is the new tint he installed has the worst cut lines you’ve ever seen. They did, they had to work late but finished it while I waited. The lobby furniture needs to be upgraded for sure but I didnt come there to sit on the couch. The windows look great and the price was comparative with other shops, But the difference for me was they got me in in a moments notice and did a Great job. I am quite sure someone scratched my side mirror pretty bad and they didn’t say anything..also broke the clips in my door panel (never rattled and popped before) I would have noticed as my car is brand new 2022 with less than 1000 miles and never saw it before until today. Also there is about an inch of flim never cut on my back window (oops must have missed that) they fixed the window tint they scratched during install so that’s a plus. I will be calling back and coming in this week. Be ready… thanks Outcome: They re-did the back side little window, they said no broken door clips just some were not in properly, either way seems solid now. They replaced my scratched mirror that they tried to tell me was from a bird.. nice try. George needs a serious assessment and needs to learn not to be so stressed.
