But after reading reviews here and hearing about experiences my friends have had with this company, I’m so glad the price deterred me so my car doesn’t get jacked up by this place. Yikes!

Review: The business practices of Ziebart Syracuse represent, in my opinion, the nadir of professional conduct that I have ever encountered. The interactions with the staff have perpetually been tainted by a worrisome undertone, akin to the classic tactics employed by scammers.
2017 Updates:
I was convincingly assured of a lifetime warranty upon purchasing a package that amounted to approximately $1,500. Later, to my profound disappointment, it was revealed that the ‘lifetime’ warranty merely spanned ten years. I retain audio records of all conversations with their representatives, which I am prepared to leverage for potential legal recourse, should it prove necessary.
Their approach to pricing is another area of grave concern. They often entice you with discounts for immediate payments, but the actual figures on their price sheets are vastly inflated and inconsistent. In my subsequent visit in 2018, I was confronted with an additional $100 increase from their already exorbitant prices.
2018 Updates:
I approached Ziebart Syracuse for a car respray, during which they attempted to impose an additional $200 charge for detailing. To further coerce me into this service, they exploited fear tactics by saying:“You car will rust if you do not do this”.
2019 Updates:
When I reached out to Ziebart Syracuse to schedule my annual respray, the representative exhibited blatant disregard for professionalism by mocking my accent. This blatant disrespect was deeply unsettling.
2023 Updates:
My front sub-frame was rust, because they sprayed rear subframe but forgot about the front. Even they forgot about it during the first visit, they should make up for it during the annual re-spray, but they did nothing, Apparently, the annual re-spray is just an opportunity for them to make more by fooling customers to purchase add on services

Review: Quantity over quality is what this place should be called. First experience with ziebart and definitely won’t be going back or recommending. Not to mention they are way over priced because of the quantity they push out. I wanted to get a full paint correction and interior detail. I will give them a couple stars for the interior detail they did a good job with that. The exterior paint correction/detail was sub par at best. They basically washed my vehicle and threw a buffing polish on the exterior (not a paint correction) I paid good money to have paint imperfections removed (scratches) not 1 single scratch was removed, I was told they were too deep to remove, which after doing a simple test with some water to see if they were too deep my findings were confirmed they are only clear coat scratches not deep metal primer scratches so a simple 2 step polishing process would remove them. So obviously they are just trying to pump out vehicle after vehicle and don’t really do what they say they. Not to mention they had my vehicle for an entire day. Bottom line look elsewhere go to a smaller detail shop where they are more about quality than quantity.

I took my car in for undercoating to the syracuse location and Jenn was my salesperson. After discussing pricing and realizing how affordable it really was I decided I would have the interior vacuumed, shampooed and detailed, as well as having the gloss protection on the exterior. Ziebart was even running a promotion which made it even more affordable. I expected a professional job to be done but I was amazed at how well it came out. Jenn even had some scratches removed and paint chips filled in before the gloss was applied. The staff was extremely nice and the appointment went exactly as it should have with no problems experienced at all. I believe the shop foreman’s name was Alonzo and he was exceptionally professional at all. He even took responsibility of any problems that may have occured later and offering to help me in the future, however its been almost 2 months and there were no issues. I would definitely recommend Ziebart of syracuse to,anyone interested in protecting their investment. Thank you to the Ziebart of Syracuse team!

Review: Not impressed with the level of service my wife got today when she brought my truck in for the annual rust proofing recheck. I had an appointment for 9:15 AM. When I set the appointment we discussed her waiting with it as we live an hour away. I was reassured she would be red tagged as a person waiting and they would get it in and she should be done by lunch time. After checking in several times after lunch as the truck had not moved and several people from 8 and 9 o’clock appointments were still there someone finally spilled the beans all but 1 of their auto lifts are broken but 1. They were bringing in new cars ahead of all the customers with appointments for free rechecks. I bet if she had bought one of the packages of new services this morning it would have gotten her further up the line. Things happen and equipment breaks, staffing can be an issue to. Been there as a past business owner. I would not be here telling about a terrible experience today for a service that takes 12 minutes to do. They made my wife sit there for 7.5 hours. Some honest communication would be to level with the room full of customers and give them options. Very poor management all the way around. I am glad we gave you no new business and likely we will ever come back.

Review: This place should be ashamed of itself. They have ruined the frame of my 2013 Chevy Silverado. After I placed a claim, they waited over 6 months to get back to me and told me that because I didn’t come in within the time frame in 2020 I was not eligible for a claim. I called them to make a appointment for 2020, where they told me due to COVID I couldn’t bring the truck in until further notice and they were still granting my warranty. I also told them in 2021 and 2022 my state inspector said that the frame was getting rusty. I left the truck with them for 2 days both years and when I picked it up they told me I was all set.
Terrible customer service and managers at this location. No proper communication at all and extremely unhelpful with this whole situation. Only after contacting corporate we got answers.
They did nothing but just spray more undercoating on the frame so I couldn’t see the rust.
Now it has costed over $8,000 dollars to repair damages they caused on an otherwise good vehicle.
What a joke. Thanks Ziebart for nothing other than ruining my truck. Make sure anyone reading this stays away from this place, or they will ruin your vehicle, too!

Review: If I could give zero stars I would. I brought a brand new truck for services of a spray in truck liner. Once the service was finished the truck bed drain holes were plugged, overspray on 120 outlet, spray tape still attached, dents in the new rhino liner,truck bed liner chunks in the driver seat area. I followed up with a claim for 3 weeks and kept getting the runaround from the general manager Jackie. I have never received such blatant disregard regarding customer service. I had to call multiple days with no follow up unless I called. I thought it was reasonable to ask for a partial refund which they initially said was fair. Upon follow up today they took no ownership saying my brand new truck had dents in the bed with less than 100 miles at time of service and they didn’t cause them. They would remedy the issue partly by offering to drill out the drain holes only. I would rather take care of myself rather than dealing with these unskilled workers/incompetent general manager. Please avoid this store at all costs.

Review: Was told to drop off my car at 9:00 a.m. and it would be ready by 3:00 p.m.. My car was finished by 5:30p.m.. The work was noticeably rushed. Cleaning solution stains left on the rare view mirrors and the speedometer display. It looked like the ceiling was not touched at all. Unfortunately, it was an inconvenience for me to ask the workers to fix the issues due to personal time limits. Otherwise, customer service is good. Communication needs improvement as well.

Review: I took my sons 2019 f150 there. they did under coat, interior, ceramic exterior, and extra under treatment. well it was done well except the extra undercoat. it was all over the place. not expectable, went back spoke with Jerry, great guy. He advised see precious the manager. She was on it, she said we would be fixed immediately. we went back it was prefect. she gave us new look on customer service. well done at the Syracuse Ziebart. thank you.
