We called Glass Direct and they sent Mike out on Thursday to confirm measurements and back on Friday for the install. Very quick turn around, easy service. Mike was wonderful to work with. Made the whole process smooth and easy. We felt the pricing was extremely fair. Didn’t feel the need to get additional quotes. Was told $61 dollars twice. Was also told to come on down it would only take 10 minutes to cut and they closed at 4:00. Arrived at 3:35 was told they couldn’t cut it and then was also told the price would be $91 after I had to convince them that I could not come back and I needed it today. After explaining everything including my phone calls their response was “sorry”. Thank you for the reply about my review. But as you can see the problem still exists that I was overcharged $30 and I don’t read anything in your response that would rectify the situation. What’s even more sad is that I planned on using you guys for several more jobs in the future based on the conversation that I had on the phone based on the response that I got after my review I don’t feel comfortable that if I did have an issue in the future you would be able to rectify things in the future. One of my patio door panels needed to be replaced. Mike came to measure the panel. I could tell that he truly cares about his line of work. He patiently and enthusiastically answered all my questions. I have some old windows that are hard to operate, and Mike took the time to explain and demonstrate how to open and close them properly. I know it doesn’t sound like a complicated thing to do, but those windows are a pain in the neck, and I was struggling with them.:) A few weeks later Mike installed the panel. He did a wonderful job. It was such a smooth, stress-free experience. Mike has a great personality and an upbeat attitude. He is down to earth and knowledgable. Phil and Jose at the office were also helpful and kind. One place came in and said I needed to replace the entire unit at the car wash. The next gave the “ I don’t really want to do it price “ I was getting coffee and passed by glass direct. Called and had someone their the same day.. forget their names but every single person I dealt with was amazing. Job was done quickly and job was done cleanly.
