If you are not a contractor they treat you you accordingly with disrespect. Now it has become a place where you are price gouged. I recently purchased a fir 4X4X8. The price was $32.00. It seemed way high to me but it was closing time and a weekend where I needed the piece for a project. I later checked around and Home Depot had the same item for $16.00. I checked other retailers and none were even within $10.00 of the Ashland Lumber price. Now I usually expect to pay a bit more than the big box but not double.
