When I needed a new windshield for my truck I began reviewing companies and pricing in Springfield where I assumed I would need to go for best price and best service/quality. Before I went to the vendor I selected I decided to check out Monett Glass & Mirror. I was pleasantly surprised with the price and more than impressed with the reviews. Yesterday Monett Glass and Mirror installed my new windshield. Great price, great quality and service. Also didn’t have to drive to Springfield. Nice to know when needed, quality is in my backyard. First used them on a bathroom remodel for a new glass shower surround. Took them over two and a half months to get the job done after coming twice to measure the job, but once they got it done we were pleased with it but it should not have taken that long to get it done. We have now been waiting for over eight weeks to get a storm door glass replaced. Two young kids showed up to do the initial measurements and acted like they barely knew what they were doing. I waited two weeks and didn’t hear anything so I made my first call to find out the status of the install. I was asked if I wanted to go ahead with the work and I stated yes as I had told the guys who measured that I wanted it done, I was told that they would order the glass of which I thought they already should have done. I waited a few more weeks and called again seeking a install status update, I was told they would check on it and was put on hold after a long wait I was informed that they would have to call me right back. After waiting again for another couple of weeks I never got a call back. I have called a third time this past Thursday and got the same response as twice before but this time was told they couldn’t find the work ticket but he thought he saw my name on the glass out in the shop and he would check on it and call me right back. It has now been an additional week with no call back from anyone. Needless to say I WONT be doing business with this company ever again. If they do get around to calling me they certainly won’t be doing any work for me. Going to call a more reputable company with better business principals. Oh and the price they quoted me for just the glass is over a hundred and fifty dollars more than what I can have a whole new storm door installed. —– Author: L Marie Rating: 5/5 Date: 10/5/2021, 9:56:54 PM Review: Monett glass has always been honest and strive to meet my needs! I am very impressed with the service there. I work with trouble teens so I replace a lot of windows. I have bought glass everywhere but this company is awesome. The price is reasonable and if they are off the slightest bit on the measurements they will fix it immediately! I would give them 10 stars if I could
