Timing chain damaged the engine and it needed to be replaced. After the shock set in I said I would be by to have the car towed back to my house. When I got to Rogers Automotive, I stated I was waiting for my tow to take my car to my driveway. When my tow came I went inside to pay him for his one hour of diagnosis that he said was a minimum. I got an invoice for $155.00. I was surprised, but was not sure what to think due to the fact my car was costing me that much for no resolve. When I got home and my husband saw what Rogers Automotive charged, he proceeded to call to talk to someone in the shop. After explaining to Rogers that they were being more than unfair for charging that kind of a price for an hour diagnosis. There has been no resolve on Rogers Automotive part, and I have asked my husband NOT to go down but rather let Karma take place where it is well deserved. You should be ashamed of yourself. I am also curious that if my husband was to come down and pick up the car that you would have not charged him as much as you charged me and acting not the least bit concerned. I highly recommend that you think twice before you do business at Rogers Automotive. They’re responsive, unfailingly polite, and most important of all their work has been done right, first time, every time. Their prices seem to be in line with other shops in the area. Not cheap, but not overly expensive, either. They’ll work with you on parts prices, and give you options: OEM when available, and after-market. When one has a clear advantage over the other, they’ll say so. Dropped the car off around opening and picked up the car on the same day. They said it was something that they didn’t normally do but were able to accommodate the request. Dropped my car off for unknown A/C and Heat issues. Called back and asked them to check another issue since it was already in the shop and they were more than accommodating. Both issues were diagnosed same day and fixed by the next day. Great communication throughout the experience. Called with updates when necessary and we’re straightforward about pricing. 10/10 recommend. They were friendly and professional despite being busy and me not having an appointment. A few hours later I received a call with the estimate, and the car was finished the following afternoon (alternator, belt and battery change.) Everything is expensive these days, so I can’t comment on the price.
