You are in a tight spot, you call multiple vendors. The shop you have been going to for 15 years don’t have the time to help you or are too faraway. My car had been totaled. And it was faraway from home in Salem, MA. It had very expensive speakers and amplifier which I had to remove before it was sent to salvage. I called everyone I knew. I was desperate to get my stuff off the car. I talked to some people I could barely understand. I called a shop where some weird music was being played as their ring tone. Auto Sound saved my life! I had given up on good customer support in this world. Whether you pay $1k per month or $70k per month I have seen some bad customer support. I can tell you these guys rank high up there with the best of the best. I can give you names of some big corporate businesses where no matter how much money you throw at them you get bad support. This is how customer support should look like and I can tell you there were the best people I have ever talked to about anything, anywhere. There was some real empathy for my situation. They went above and beyond. Well beyond above and beyond. If I am spending $100 on anything, after this experience I would like it to go to these folks. At the end of the day, it does not matter what they are selling and which brands they deal with. These people will look after you with the kind of empathy you probably only see from close family. Don’t take your money elsewhere. If you have anything to do with anything in cars, you won’t get better looked after anywhere else. I have a weekly review with a company, my company pays big bucks to deal with. I am adding this place to the list of best customer support from any vendor I have seen – in the big leagues. Sometimes people forget what real customer service looks like, and it always helps to provide some concrete examples. Auto Sound is one of them. —– Author: Hoover Cat Rating: 5/5 Date: 5/2/2022, 10:39:59 PM Review: I had a remote starter installed in 2016 in my Honda Pilot. It worked flawlessly. The ignition lock cylinder finally gave up and I had to have it replaced at Honda North. The very next time I tried to use the remote start, it didn’t work. The doors unlocked, the engine cranked, but nothing else. I called my service rep at Honda North and he said I should contact the installer of the system. So…I drove over the Auto Sound to arrange an appointment for troubleshooting. I drove up and one of the owners greeted me and asked how he could help. I explained my situation and showed him the original paperwork I had for the install. He asked for my keys and said he would have a technician look at it right then. So….They got the car to remote start but it turns out that the parking lights didn’t work, which used to accompany the remote start. The technician found some melted going to the “brain box” of the remote start unit. The owner came back out and asked me a few questions and then showed me the damaged parts. I asked what would cause that, and he stated it had to be a power surge, which points to Honda North being the cause. The owner said he would replace the brain box and repair the burned wires to get things working again AT NO CHARGE (What? No! Really?) Total time for all of this was about 20 minutes. I offered to pay him and he would not accept anything. So, I decided to leave a review. There aren’t many companies that have done anything remotely (heh) like this. The shop has been in Middleton forever and now I can see why. The customer service was amazing. I’d highly recommend Auto Sound as a business. —– Author: Ross Hurlock Rating: 5/5 Date: 4/8/2022, 7:15:44 PM Review: Auto Sound is an amazing place to get a dash camera installed. I’d just bought my first car, and decided I wanted a VIOFO A129 Pro dual channel camera on the windshield and rear window. I knew the camera needed to have parking mode enabled, so I also needed it hooked up to a power source even when the car was off. Everywhere I called insisted on installing the camera by hardwiring it into my cars fuse box – which can potentially damage fuses or disconnect on or two of my cars features (fog lamps / heated seats, etc.) to make room for the camera. I was also concerned adding the camera could interfere with my car’s remote starter. Auto Sound was the only place I could find that had the expertise to wire it directly to the battery at a fair price. The install is incredibly clean. Jeff, who took my call and works the front desk, provided excellent customer service and communicated the $200 installation fee very clearly. While Jerry, the technician who installed the camera, was able to do it way under the estimated time and was even able to get me a discount. If you’re living in the city and need a camera installed it’s worth the drive to Middleton. —– Author: Kaitlyn M Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/29/2022, 12:54:27 PM Review: My husband and I had called several places for our key fob, before finding AutoSound. Each place we initially tried calling was dismissive (even rude) and we were told we would have to drive over and come in to be seen in person before we could receive any help. We went into AutoSound and were in and out in 5 minutes. The man working the customer service was so friendly, their waiting area comfortable, and their bathrooms nice and clean. In the 5 minutes we spent waiting, we were asked by 2 other sales associates if we had been helped yet. Fantastic customer service, quick care, and a very nice facility – easy 5 stars!
