From my first phone call, Lloyd, the sales associate, was incredibly informative and helpful. He provided me with all the details I needed to make an informed decision about the tint options available. At the location, I was greeted by Hung, the general manager, who was super friendly and walked me through all the tint % options I had. The quality of the work was outstanding. The Llumar FormulaOne tint films they used are top-of-the-line, and the finished product looks fantastic. The pricing was surprisingly competitive, more affordable than EVERY other place I had considered, despite the high-quality materials and service. The shop itself was clean, communication was prompt, and the overall professionalism was evident from start to finish. I highly recommend Pristine Auto Spa for anyone looking to get their car windows tinted. I have only great things to say about Pristine Auto Spa’s service, expertise, pricing and professionalism. I would highly recommend it everyone. After extensive research as well as reviewing recommendations from the dealership and friends, I decided to take my Rolls Royce Dawn to Pristine for color wrap, PPF, and window tinting. The entire process was transparent, pleasant, and comfortable. The finished product came out to be as promised, and I tell you, it turns heads!! Thank you, Lloyd and Hung. The staff was professional and personable, actively communicating with me through out the whole process. They were honest with me about their expectations and did everything they could to correct my paint. The price was great for the work being done and the facility is remarkably clean and well kept (low car friendly too!). I went to this shop after checking the prices of two other shops. Their price is relatively cheaper than the more popular shops which are also in Yelp. Their shop at Rockville is clean and professional looking as well as its staff. The lobby has two tables which can seat a couple of customers. WIFI is free. However, I noticed no refreshments is served. Not even a vending machine. No interaction with other staff other than Hung. I would say he’s very straight forward. No gimmicks. He will not sell you other products/services other than what was requested. In a way it is good. He does not smile a lot though. Pretty much has a poker all the time I was dealing with him in person. But going to the more important part of this review. Like what I mentioned previously, it’s the price that mainly influenced my decision to go to this shop. I got their PPF full frontal and added the four doors. Cost me more than $4K for the install. I would say they did fairly fast job, maybe too fast it cost the quality of work. Checked in my MDX 2023 Tuesday and got it back Friday same week. But my issue with this shop is the quality of work and how Hung always rebutt/disclaim the defects/issues after the PPF install. Right off the bat when I asked him how they handle defects post PPF his answers are like a script – paint jobs from manufacturers are not perfect so any defects like bubbles and lines are attributed to this. It’s like he’s already informing me that they will not fix anything after the install. After 2 weeks after the install, this is to cure the PPF, I went back so they can post inspect it. Before they wash my vehicle, I pointed to Hung some bubbles I noticed on several spots and he just told me after they washed it his guys will inspect my vehicle and will address what they will see. After waiting for my vehicle for more than 2 hours and see the same bubbles, I still heard the same excuse with the message that they will not address the bubbles because they are factory defects even though I only have 2,400 miles on my vehicle and hardly drives it. There is clause in the pre-agreement that they’re supposed to inform me of any other defects that they found before installing the PPF. Did not get a notification about the spots that I am seeing bubbles. I am not really happy and satisfied with this shop paying >$4K and getting this quality of work. I expect a professional service and a great customer service. I understand most of the reviews here are 5 star and mostly window tinting. Just take this review as grain of salt before going to this shop for PPF. I was planning on going to have the rest of the MDX (rear bumper, trunk and rear fenders) PPF here but will re-think about it knowing I will hear the same excuse for any issues post PPF installation. The dealer washed the car beforehand despite my instructions, but the guys at Pristine were able to remove all the blemishes with their paint correction. Hung also communicated very well with me leading up to the process and answered all my questions. Pricing was also very fair!
