Review: Was at lowes yesterday getting a few things bucksport store did not have! Needed 5 2×4’s and said I will buy local; I like the people there! Walked in and was greeted by lady who I deal with most of time I go in; jokingly asked how bad are 2×4’s today? Her response was 11.99 each! I said are you kidding me? (Because we joke sometimes) her reply was nope; but at least they haven’t gone up! I try to but local as much as possible; and usually do; but this is crazy! I can’t and won’t pass this price increase on to my customers; (I have a small workshop in town) but I try to buy at bucksport as much as possible! A dollar or so difference i can deal with; but this is crazy! Corporate people need to take notice! Your awesome employees can only justify so much! I bought the 5 i needed; but I need a 100 for next week! Any guesses where I’m going???
