I overall had a pretty shitty experience at this shop a couple months ago. I wanted my windshield tinted and the only positive thing was they were able to get me in the same day I called. As for the cons. I was quoted 2 different prices only to be slapped in the face when the time came to pay. I wanted the ceramic tint which is more expensive so I knew what I was getting myself into. When I first called and they quoted me $225 + additional $25 to remove my As-1 line strip. I dropped off my car and fast forward they called me to tell me it was done to only just now telling me “cash only since windshield tint is illegal and it was $300! I didn’t have cash on me so I asked if I can pay by card. They said I could but will be charged a fee. I show up ready to pay and they said cash only we don’t accept card, windshield tint is illegal, there’s an atm at the liquor store down the road. I was livid. My original budget of around $250 that turned into $300 already left a bad taste in my mouth, now they say I can’t pay with card even though over the phone they did. I felt taken advantage of. I ended calling a family member to take me to a bank and borrowed some money to pay. I asked for a receipt and you’d expect it “ windshield tint is illegal so I can’t give you a receipt”I get my car back and inspect it and along the right side the whole edge was not lay down properly I had to squeegee it myself. Attached is what it looks like today, there is some bubbles I wasn’t able to get out and I’m kinda if a skeptical if they even gave me ceramic tint. End of story, please stay away from this shop! Let me say, I’m not one to jump on the first price that sounds good, either. I searched and searched for the best deal possible. With so many wheel and tire combos, I had gotten a bit overwhelmed, and they all started looking the same, lol. So I decided to give Luckys a yell. Bobby(who is absolutely awesome) wasted no time in contacting me. Told him what I was looking for, and he texted me back the same day with items to choose from. I was still on the fence, so we went back and forth on some different options. I was crazy busy at the time, so I basically ghosted him for about a week, and he still came back and helped me on the best deal possible. Like I said, I checked prices so I knew what I was getting. I also needed my windows tinted. So that was gonna be an extra amount as well to factor in. Bobby made it happen. He set me up with a deal I couldn’t refuse. I always go to luckys for my tint. This was my 3rd vehicle this yr and can’t even count how many I’ve had there in a lifetime. There is no other place to go for tint, hands down the best! Now I have a tire and wheel dealer:). Bobby treated us more like family than a business. I highly recommend giving Bobby at Luckys a yell if you’re in the market for anything automotive. Next up for me, exhaust and a bumper:). I got my car tinted 7/12/2023 yes I was late cause who ain’t. They still hook me up. Kept me entertained with a movie theater set while I waited. Very clean establishment. I will share texts from Luckys Autosport and/or photos of their work. I was charged $200+ more than the price I was originally told and it took approx. 3 weeks longer. I bought 4 wheels and tires, less than a month after I had them 3 tires came unbeaded leaving me and 2 small children stranded on the BG waiting for onstar to send assistance. I also bought a 2.5″ leveling kit and had them install it, I was charged for what I ordered but recieved a 1.5″ kit. On the way home from luckys, several service engine lights came on, one of which was a suspension issue. I contacted them and they told me to get the wheels aligned and it would clear the lights, I got a wheel allignment and the issues became worse. When I had my vehicle towed back to luckys for repair due to their neglance and not properly mounting my tires, they attempted to charge me an additional $700+ keep in mind this is a brand new 2021 yukon denali xl. My vehicle is still currently sitting there, I do not trust them or their staff and refuse to get it as they my have sabotaged it in some way, very nasty people to deal with and they refuse to accept any accountability for their poor work and putting my children and I in danger. Today’s date is 11/23/2022…they have had my vehicle since Saturday it will sit there until I speak to my attorney later today. This is a no Brainer and they will be held accountable. I’ve spoken to other shops, readylift and venom tires and to certified GM dealorships…all agree these tires were not correctly beaded. I’m going to make certain my vehicle and I are made hole, I will be contacting my attorney after thanksgiving, if not today and Luckys will be held accountable for their neglance and poor work. I will continue to post documents I recieve from other shops and information as this issue moves forward.I won’t be letting this one go, people/businesses like this need to be held accountable for their work as well as they way they treat their customers. Luckys also told me a break line was broken, when I asked for photos of it and questioned it, the break line issue disappeared. They claim my strut is damaged and yet will not send photos, yet the GM dealorships who suggested I take my vehicle back to luckys and insist they fix their work didn’t see any of this damage.
