Review: This was my first experience with purchasing from Willis since we moved to Des Moines. I’ve previously purchased 3 RX350’s from another dealer where we lived at the time. Faraz our sales person was very good. The gentleman that did the technology review was great. (Sorry I forgot his name) What really disappointed the experience was the Willis Protection Plan that they add to every vehicle . They cove the engine hood and mirrors. I do not have a problem with that it’s clearly stated. However, after you agree on a price another person comes out to sell you more add on’s and one is another $900 to add protection to the rest of the front of the car. To me Lexus always had class in their sales process. Paying $995 for a protection package and not covering the front part and asking for another $900 for the front of the car was not what I expect from a Lexus dealer. Also, really didn’t appreciate another sales person to come out selling a bunch of add ons after a price was agreed upon.

Review: It’s a nice place with a good selection of vehicles, but they don’t budge on pricing, no matter how hard you push. They also add a $200 door guard that they say you can’t refuse.

Review: Willis Lexus is always friendly, they make sure you are satisfied with their work, and the waiting area is comfortable. They offer free tire rotation with service when you buy your tires from them. And their pricing is competitive.

Review: We had an issue with a bad battery, and unable to start our recently purchased car (8 mo 5,000 miles old) at my wifes work. The dealer was very responsive, and had the car picked up within under 3 hours, and a loaner car to us within a few more hours. Even more impressive was that we had the loaner delivered directly to our home. We also were able to get 2 recalls, and first service done on one trip. Communication was excellent, with even an Uber like experience to see the loaner drop off and pickup trips to know what was going on at all times.
Prior to this we had tried to get the first recall done to get our second key fob, and had a frustrating experience of mis-communication, scheduling and then cancelling of the appointment.
The staff @ Willis redeemed themselves with first class service on this situation. We have our car back working perfectly again in 1.5 days after calling in to get help. Initial call was 7:30 AM yesterday, and the car was delivered back to our home before 1 pm today.
I used to work in customer support at John Deere in many capacities, and it’s service like this that makes a big difference in customer satisfaction and promotion, surprisingly making more devoted customers than if the vehicle had no issues at all to understand what the dealer would do. Experiencing it first hand was a breath of fresh air to me.
