The trim was very uneven and not nailed to the wall in some places. A second crew came and did a cleanup job which I appreciate, but not 5 months later the caulking is completely split and the trim is almost 1/8th inch off the wall in some spots. I wanted to support local but I’d go elsewhere for the rest of my house. Update: They did make it right and had another crew come out to repair the issues, but ultimately like I shared with the business when I spoke with them my negative review was more related to the behavior of the initial install crew on top of the poor work. Very professional, well manned, well dressed, in company shirts. Very knowledgeable about there product. I told them ,Exactly what I want. Which was gonna be quit expensive. They suggested options to try to save me some money. Which is very important. But I want ,what I want. Champagne taste & beer budget. Always. They worked to get me a price I was comfortable with. Without cutting back on quality. But in the end, it all worked out. We were able to get booked for an estimate within days of inquiring and our window expert technician Weston was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Reasonable pricing and will have a fairly quick turnaround time for getting the work started and finished. My husband and I both are very happy with our experience and will be a return customer for when we are ready to do the rest of our windows. To put it bluntly, we were surprised by the thoroughness of his demonstration, his transparency about industry details and pricing, and his knowledge about the products he sold. The salesman experience is often the same, questionable experience from one guy to the next, but we felt like Weston actually cared to go back and forth with us on pricing to get us to a point that worked for us, without it feeling awkward. We felt like he wasn’t actively trying to rip us off or squeeze every dime possible out of us, but instead like he actually understood our hesitancies with large spending in this day and age. Full disclosure, we signed a contract with Midwest Window Co. We didn’t do this just because of what we felt like was a good price for the project, but because Weston seemed to care about getting us the best package for the price we had to work with – and because he was a very friendly, very down-to-earth person and not some canned sales experience with a flashy haircut. The prices are much more reasonable than other quotes we had without sacrificing quality. He was able to really explain, show, and prove everything that he talked to us about. He answered our questions directly and listened to what we wanted. He and the company appear to be very trustworthy and stand behind their work as well as their windows. The whole quote was an excellent experience. Low pressure for sales gave us the chance to make a decision instead of feeling pressured into one. He also was very knowledgeable about the financing company and has the experience of having purchased and used the windows in his own home. Very happy with our order.
