Review: I have had a good experience with this company in the past, but absolutely will not be calling them again after my most recent experience. I called in with a non-leaking cracked windshield that I finally had a bit of time to have addressed. Nearly a month later, I have a leaking truck, mildew smell that will require a professional cleaning to remedy, a part on order that was damaged by B&D at a cost of $400 +/- and after MULTIPLE attempts to have the issue remedied can not get anyone to call me to discuss a solution. When calling in to try to remedy the leak in my truck, I was immediately blamed for the leak prior to the tech reviewing his work stating that “I drove the truck to soon after the windshield was installed and my warranty is void”. After the tech finally came back out, he spent 5 minutes running a bead of urethane across the top and charged me $20. After the truck still leaking, I carefully diagnosed the issue. It turns out, the windshield isn’t leaking… he broke every clip on the windshield cowl, ruining the seal to the windshield and allowing water to get into the cabin air filter. Aside from routine oil changes at the same location every time, my truck has not been touched by anyone in 3+ years. No leak or issues with cowl prior to B&D touching vehicle. The clips can not be replaced, the entire cowl has to be replaced. At this point, by trying to use a local company and save $120 rather than using safelite, I am out hours of my time, $700 +/- in additional expenses, and am still working to resolve the problem. I completely understand mistakes being made, what I can not understand is this companies blatant disregard for customer service or making things right by the customer when a mistake is made.
