I was also impressed with how the store was set up. They had almost every accessory you can think of to put in or on a vehicle. The employees I spoke to were knowledgeable and helpful, so I decided to go with them. My wife and I went in, and she picked out her tint percentage, and we even found a subwoofer to put in her cargo space that ended up sounding great and didn’t break the bank. The tint came out great, and the entire process was smooth. The price I was quoted was $150 each for labor, which eventually totaled close to $800 with additional parts that I required. I didn’t have a problem with that because I wanted my music in my truck. The first truck had a loud hum that would come in and out and the volume would go up and down randomly on its own. I brought it back the next day, 1/31, and was told to try several different options to rule out the cause. On the third day, 2/1, I brought the truck back and Stephen heard it and told me to tinker with it over the next few days and see if I could figure it out and if that doesn’t work I should bring it back in on Monday. I brought my other truck in yesterday, 2/2, for my scheduled appointment even though the other one has issues that still need to be addressed. They started on my other truck, 2/2, worked on it several hours. After several hours I was informed that the amp needed to be replaced. This gave me pause for concern considering this amp is five months old and worked perfectly fine two weeks ago. After hearing this information I walked over to Best Buy to see what my options were since the unit was only five months old. Long story short the amplifier needs to be sent in for possible repairs. I gave them a one star rating because two brand new trucks went in for a simple modifications and now both trucks have issues. I asked Randy if I could bring the first one back in before Monday to see if we could try to get it repaired, so I could have music in at least one of my vehicles. I brought the truck back and the technician moved my audio control box to a different location to see if that resolved the issues. When I left the noise was still there as well as the volume issues, so $800 dollars wasted and now I have no music in either truck and today I have to find and pay another company for diagnostics and possible repairs. Called 2 separate times to ask questions about my issue. First person I talked to was great the second time I called Whoever I spoke to was a lil rude and rushy like you bothering them first red flag! Then the pricing he told me was crazy $130 for you just to look at my car to see if you can do a installation. Sir I’m sure you have installed interior LED lights powered by usb cables on 2021 Dodge Charger 392 before! I mean dam the mechanic shop only charges $75 to diagnose a whole engine. No need to cry over spilled milk one of my Clients told me about some Mexicans inside the Douglasville flea market that owns a shop in Marietta. Went to them, they did great work and great prices $150 for the install that’s who I would recommend before I come here.

I returned to SoundProof to get help resolving the issue. Their customer service was outstanding. They patiently listened to my concerns, then expertly troubleshooted the issue and fixed it. My first encounter was great, he was personable and explained everything. So after my truck was finish, my name was called by another man and I went to the counter with no acknowledgment not even a hello. I stood there and waited for this dude to raise his head and say something and he didn’t say anything until, I asked, “did someone call my name?” He never looked up and said, yea you ready. I was okay and my key was place on the counter so I went retrieved my belongings still waiting for the next steps. I stood there but nothing was said so I asked, is that it? He said umm no, you owe a certain amount that was higher that I was previously told. I said that’s incorrect and he was like umm okay. So I paid and took my key and left. I suppose to go back and complete the rest but I’m uncertain. I did say could you please give directions instead allowing me to just stand here. He looked dumbfounded. Update: Larry called and apologized several times for the customer service and assured me that wasn’t the policy of the store. He offered a discount for future services and gave me a refund for the balance on the gift certificate.
