First I called him up and explained my situation. He was very understanding and very patient over the phone. A couple of days later, I went to my appointment first thing in the morning and was greeted by the owner, DJ. He took down all my information of what I wanted done to my car. A few hours later I came back and he explained everything that I needed to do and not do with the tint process. He explained my warranty to me and that if anything should happen such as bubbles, cracks etc…… that he would take care of it for me. DJ was so pleasant and so polite to talk to. I can see why he’s got great reviews and why he’s been in business for so long. I will definitely recommend DJ’s services. If I need any future services I will be sure to give D.J.’s Tinting a call. I walked over by their shop but did not step a foot in to assure I do not enter without acknowledgment of my being in their establishment. So I used my voice to alert a man who I believe was the owner to bring awareness of a customer from a distance.To make aware for others who might read this, very unprofessional of his stature as well as presentation when he was explaining their services. I understand the process of tinting vehicles goes but customers satisfaction is very important and today it was not met. Customer service: need immediate improvement. I had been sitting in the waiting room while the owner was working on my vehicle but then I decided to see if I could check out the process. As I was walking towards the front of my vehicle, the owner stopped what he was doing and was just staring at me, once I arrived to the front he said “ can I help you ma’am “ and then proceeds to say that if I was going to stand and watch, that he was going to charge me double, and told me to go back to the waiting room and wait there until he was done. Two other ( I’m assuming) workers were just laughing about it. His tone was not a sarcastic one which upset me. I have been to at least 3 other tinting business over the past years and I would be seated where I could see the job being done from inside the waiting room. I understand each business is different and each person has there way of doing their job. I simply wanted to see a glance of the process and possibly start a conversation like I normally would. I did not think he was going to be so rude about it. His response was not appropriate at all, there were many other ways he could have responded, for example saying that the work area is off limit to the customers for whatever reasons or any other appropriate response,but the owner chose to be rude. I am not sure that because I am a young female, the owner thought that it was okay to speak to me like that, but a customer should always be treated fairly. And no, I was not charged double. It’s unfortunate going to a small business thinking that you’re helping them out and possibly leaving them a positive review, but this was not my case. Customer service and proper communication goes a long way, and you’d expect that a small business would know how to treat their customers. —– Author: Estela Fuentes Rating: 1/5 Date: 8/10/2022, 10:45:34 PM Review: Terrible customer service, will not go back. Not recommended. Overpriced. They charged me double too just for a simple service that I could’ve done myself. They took hours ‘working on it’. when seen my car I noticed three guys chatting around it. Not to mention the regular workers were insubordinate towards there boss. I personally felt disrespected throughout the entire time. I feel that my time was wasted. Just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I should be taken advantage of my time and money. I got places to be. This place need new people or simply shut down.
