During the estimate I was given several options for the repairs and the price quoted was honored even though extra work was needed during the service. The staff was very professional and completed the repairs in a timely manner. Would definitely use again. Webb Rating: 1/5 Date: 6/7/2024, 12:17:18 PM Review: I had previously had good service here but the last two times were unpleasant and Jad who I normaly deal with wasnt there. I had been working on getting the front end suspension fixed on my car. I was given a price of around 800 and took a while to save the money. When I did the repair and picked up the car they then advised me there would be about 700 more work to get the front end to not make noise which you would think should have been in the original estimate. They also stated they found a bad oil leak which I hadn’t noticed and recomended the back suspension be updated as well. On second opinion the oil leak is nothing and hasn’t leaked more than about 5 drops in 2 months in my garage. I went to fix the back suspension and early the next morning I get a series of texts about the oil leak, a new cv joint and no mention of the last repair recomended in the front. Which all just seemed like repair fishing. When I firmly stated I didn’t want those repairs and felt I was being pushed, suddenly the business no longer takes phone payment. This is unlike every mechanic I have ever dealt with including this location as recently as January has Terrible service! Then when my mother picked my vehicle up today and upon coming home there is scratching across the top of my hood which was not there previously. They were upfront and showed me how it looked before they fixed and after it was done my car ran better. They are friendly and don’t rip you off on the work or price. People trust mechanics to fix their cars but this guy and his crew will just have you coming back again and again. He has worked on 2 of our vehicles a car once and truck 3 times until he finally destroyed it. My husband took his truck to fyz Oct 27 2023 originally for a diagnosis. He called the next day to see what they found and they told him. They discussed the problem and how much it would cost to fix. My husband felt it was too much so Jed lowered the price but was not happy. We finally got a call Oct 29 around noon that it was ready. When my husband picked up his truck Jed told him everything is good to go but if he see’s black smoke come see him. My husband didn’t think anything of it he was just happy to have his truck back. So we went about our day as usual. We picked our daughters up from school between 2:30 and 3:30. On our way back home we smelled smoke. At first we thought the smell may have been coming from outside but we soon realized it was coming from the truck. We finally saw the black smoke that Jed mentioned to my husband. So we pulled over the a nearby 7 11 and I jumped out to see where the smoke was coming from. When I looked I saw flames and yelled for my oldest daughter to unbuckle her 2 little sister’s car seats. We proceeded to grab all we can and pour 3 daughters to safety as we watched the truck go up in flames. We did call 911 and firefighters put it out but damage was already done. The following week we went to their office to get another receipt as the original was ruined in the fire. We tried to go through insurance and other ways to see if there was anything we could do but it was a fail. So a week later we went to the office to inform him what happened as we have pictures and video. My husband told him he messed up the truck, it caught on fire and with a smile on his face all he said was where is the truck? He was able to fix my car ac in a timely manner and made sure that I had it back in time for an important event that I had coming up. He also gave me a great price and an amazing warranty. My car ac runs better than it ever has. I’m new to the area but will be sure to come to FYZ for my automobile needs in the future.
