The final price was more than $100 over quoted price. The additional charge for using a credit card was never mentioned and was on top of tax which is the charge for not paying cash. After getting my daughters car tinted there last she made an appointment to get a sub & amp (that she already had) installed. They quoted us $100 an hour and estimated it would be two hours so we scheduled it for this Thursday. Today (Tuesday) a rude woman from the shop called and acted like it was our fault it was scheduled incorrectly, said “there’s no way they can do the car this week, it would be next Wednesday at the earliest. AND they’d need the car all day” After I agreed to that, even though I was a little put off by her attitude, she begins again asking if we were given a price. I tell her what we were quoted and she exclaims “oh no, that’s not right. More like 4 hours and $400!” I respond “to install a sub & amp? 4 hours? “ She says yes & says they gave us the wrong price. I explain to her that it was her shop that scheduled us and gave us the price and how unprofessional it was for her to call me with her attitude and DOUBLE the price without any explanation except “it’s the shop policy.” I told her they wouldn’t be getting any more of my business, this is how they treat a customer who chose to be loyal to their business. To repair the seal, the whole back glass had to come out in order to replace the sliced seal. The owner covered all costs in returning my Corvette to like new condition again. Some shops probably would have not taken responsibility and left me on my own. The people at SunGard are honest and good local business people. I would definitely use them again.
