I went to the shop to inspect, Vanessa was very professional, patient to show me the different options as I wasn’t sure how dark I needed to go on top of the factory tint that already existed. They were able to fit me in right away, although my appointment was later that afternoon. The tint was done nicely, and a month later, everything seem just fine. I’ve done my share of tint before, and I’m satisfied with what I paid for. The clarity of the Llumar tint was really quite good, I guess you can really see the difference between cheaper tint vs more premium brands, you get what you pay for. Now, the only complaint I have is well, there’s no nice way to say this, theft. Now, let me say that this isn’t just a Dynamic Tint problem, but pretty much a symptom of the times, society wide issue. This happens even when I take my car in for car wash at Mercedes Dealers. items and property, especially valuables, cash, tends to grow legs and hop out of your vehicle into someone’s pocket all by themselves, without permission, isn’t that just wonderful. Now, under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t probably be certain where I might have lost it, but in my situation, I came to tint the car the second day I purchased the vehicle, and in the morning, just prior to driving down to the tint shop, I had brought a bag full of stuff from previous vehicle and transferred it all to the new vehicle to be tinted. A Swiss army knife which I use frequently went missing, initially that’s all I thought was missing, later I found out my expensive Plantronics BT headset, which I also use extensively during driving for conference call was missing as well. Now, I’m not going to make a big deal out of this, it’s not a whole lot of money, but it’s still money, $150 to replace it. that’s just about half the cost of my tint. That being said, this is a symptom of an underclass in our society, circumstances or otherwise, had really shaken our society’s core-values, and turning us into a different people / community. Now, I have reported this to Vanessa, she was receptive to the constructive feedback, and I know this isn’t an isolated incident to their shop, and I’ve suggested that they may want to let their staff know that customers are aware, and maybe not a good idea to continue this conduct in the future. In any case, I was quite satisfied with the tint and the workmanship is fine. I just wish this little “item hopping” incident didn’t happen without my permission. I struggled to give a star rating, that would have otherwise been a 5. Manager even came out and made sure I was taken care of. And they gave me the best rate in town for Llumar CTX ceramic. And I called a bunch of places too. Also got free ticket protection for checking in on Yelp. Got both my cars done on a Saturday and I didn’t have to come in super early since they close at 7. Most places either close early or are completely booked on Saturdays, but they were able to squeeze me in and got both my cars done in 3 hours. They also have free wifi and water bottles in their waiting room, a table if you need to work, or a couch if you just want to sit and chill. Very happy with the price, product, work and service. When I went to make the appointment that Santa Ana location said they would reach out to the fountain valley location to see if they were available for any appointment. Do not try to lie here to make up for not doing what was offered. As well as what the young lady said over the phone when I was called by the company saying that YOU had made the mistake and wouldn’t honor the offer that was made to me. It is in black and white in the photos I have attached in a continuous message thread thru the same Instagram account. Either honor the deal or just admit you are lying now and are trying to make yourself look better. Unfortunately I have to blast them on yelp. It’s unfortunate but when I was given a price for my f250 full front end $1800, which was the same price as a local guy that I was going to go with and told them thanks but no thank you. Then THEY recontact me again later after I told them this to see if I’d still be interested. And I tell them again that for that price I have a local guy that I’m gonna use. So they then tell me ok well we can do our special $1495 for you and I verify what all that’s going to include… hood, fenders, bumper, mirror caps and I ask, grille and headlights? They answered not grill only headlights. So fast forward to now… I’m setting up the appointment and ask about going to the other location and then that location is getting the deposit and setting the appointment and they are surprised that it’s a truck I have. So then I get called back from the other location and they say sorry WE DIDN’T MEAN TO SAY THAT it included lights so we can’t do that. But if you want those done we can do it for $1800. So now just offered me the special without really doing it. I asked if they are going to honor what THEY offered but THEY SAID NO…. I think that’s pretty bad business to do. He was straight forward and quoted me a great price to remove the old window tint and install the new stuff.
