I went in for a front window replacement. Pos: Same day service, completed in 2 hours. Cons: The front rear view mirror fell off by the time I got home, and I only live down the street. I called, and they asked me to return, I was thankful and I went. They put more glue/adhesive and asked that I return on Wednesday to give it some time to dry/settle. The manager offered me an “appointment” I shared sure I can stop by at 10:30 Wed. He shared the installation would take 5 minutes. I left, returned Wed at 10:30, giving myself 30 minutes to get the mirror installed for my “appointment”. I walk in and he barely acknowledges me but shared his worker would install the mirror, then returns after 20 minutes later and says nothing about my car. I ask and he said it will be ready soon. Okay, I ask for an estimate given the 5 minutes had turned into the 30. Then instead of giving me an update, he says “well that’s why costumers do appointments.” So, I reminded him he offered the appointment on Monday, and I accepted a 10:30 am appointment. Then he goes and say that I “arrived late” and “costumers usually don’t plan to do anything” – I was like, yeah, but you told me 5 minutes, it’s now over 30 minutes. No accountability whatsoever and he continued to put the lack of communication/scheduling on me. Finally, his worker walks in and says, here are the keys. He tells his coworker in front of me, “Are those the keys to the car, because the customer is tripping.” We walk outside and yes, at that moment, I did school him on customer services etiquette. It doesn’t end there, I get home only to inspect a missing piece to the mirror, wires are just hanging out. I called for a windshield replacement. They had mine in stock and were able to do it that afternoon! The cost was 70% of the quote I got from Safelite. They have free mobile repair service as well. However, I went in to get my car done. The location is great. ANGRY FISH sushi is across the street! I got a pedicure at Magic Nails. I went to Dollar Tree. There’s a skate park. I brought my new truck to this place a few weeks ago for tinting but I didn’t pay attention to what they did. A week later, I noticed that the door panels were broken so I took it to the dealer and they informed me that they destroyed my panel. I called Lynx Auto Glass and told them what happened. They told me to come in and show them the car. When I arrived and asked them to repair their damage, they got so angry that they almost hit me and yelled at me using inappropriate language.
