We got a quote, visited the showroom, worked with their office staff, and had an install team and every one of them was helpful, kind, and clear. The price was great too. Our installers Gabe and Amir were so careful, had great attention to detail, and they were fast. I got bids from several companies in the area and they were very competitive with their pricing. I went with them for that reason as well as they were quick to respond, order the materials, and get the work started. Sal came in and took measurements of all my windows, explained the process and time it would take. He was quick to give me a price and when I signed the contract, they ordered the windows immediately. When the windows came in, Manny and Omar were the two main guys replacing the windows. Again, they worked quick and efficient. As soon as they took out the old single pane windows, they replaced them with the new double pane and took the old windows off the property. They left my house cleaner than when they started, and did all the finish work perfectly. I was very impressed with how Manny and Omar worked throughout the two weeks they were there, they replaced the majority of my windows, around 2 dozen floor to ceiling windows as well as 6 very large sliding glass doors. We called Cal Coast for an estimate. Chris came out and helped walk us through which windows and door would work best for our situation. We wanted to widen a sliding glass door, enlarge another window and put in a double slide window for the kitchen. Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gave us a fair price for the amount of work needed. Lorna was very communicative about our order and how it would take longer than usual, due to our mix of new construction and retrofits and the double slide. When our windows finally came in, Lorna worked some magic to get us on the schedule as quickly as possible. It took over a week and a half for the door and windows to be installed. Of course it had to be during an extreme heat wave, but Daniel and Danny showed up promptly every day prepared to work. They had to enlarge openings, install new headers, and move some electrical. At the end of each day, they made sure to leave everything very clean. I was very impressed with their work ethic, cleanliness, communication and attention to detail, especially when it came to sheetrock work. They matched the texture perfectly. They even paid attention to the trim and made sure to match other existing trim. We did have to paint, as that is something they don’t do. The stucco crew did a fabulous job on matching the new stucco to the current stucco. I love our new door and windows. We have a couple more projects to do in the coming years and I’m sure we will contact Cal Coast for those projects when the time comes. I initially worked with Sal who helped me determine what windows I should consider. He didn’t push hard from a sales perspective; he just provided me with straight forward information a/b their products, all my options, what would be the best option based on my budget, provided images and even stopped by one day to show me samples to help me better visualize. Again – no hard pitching or pushing. Just very responsive in a timely manner and was able to offer competitive pricing. The best part was that he was able to offer custom windows that would match the look and feel of my home which is almost 100 years old! Fast forward to the installation – Koba and his team were AMAZING! SO professional, polite, hard working and clean in making sure everything was covered up nicely. Koba is truly a master of his craft. It’s a lot of work with cutting, framing, sealing, etc. as these were custom windows and their work was perfection in every detail. They suggested working with Jaime Ledesma. Over a period of 2-3 weeks I peppered Jaime with questions, size of windows, options for glass, and finally was able to get the pricing. He was always ready to satisfy my request and always with a smile. Jaime came with a very competitive price but since I was also buying skylights and glass blocks, I ended up buying from a supplier who provided all of the items. After buying our old 1924 craftsman fixer-upper, I consulted with five different companies to get quotes on window replacement. Cal Coast gave us the best price……. by a long shot. Not only did we get 17 high-quality Milgard Tuscany windows (with a classic Craftsman grid pattern) for a low price, but the customer service was great. JT was a knowledgeable sales rep who was super responsive, solutions-oriented, and professional but not pushy like other companies’ sales reps. Gary came out to take measurements and was excellent. The crew did an excellent job with removing some pretty damaged windows and frames and installing my new windows. We’re really happy with the workmanship and the affordability, but most of all the customer service. Don’t go for lowest price , if you do the windows are low quality and look cheap. I look for value, and Cal Coast has the best value with quality windows / doors and excellent workmanship. Highly recommended
