When I saw their breakfast empanada. Oh yeah, I gotta go, ASAP. Long drive for me from Anaheim. But worth it. Parking’s gotta be an issue during their busy hours. It wasn’t when I got there. I door dashed it for pick-up because I got places to go. And I really wanted to try their breakfast empanada with no meat. The pricing is fair. The prices for empanada closer to home are $3-4 more. So I was good with that. Already had a big breakfast earlier in the morning. So this order was small. Decided to give it a try, it is a little pricey, $3.50 per piece, 1 dozen for $36. At first, I didn’t see the price for 1 dozen, so I bought 8 empanadas which cost $36, I wished the lady at the cashier told me about the dozen special. I went back 2 days later to get 1 dozen, 3 beef, 3 chicken, 2 pizza, 2 sausage and 2 bacon. The reason I went back was because my wife and son wanted more, they loved it very much. The beef and chicken empanadas are very good, a great mixture of spices and flavor. Pizza is pretty normal which my son loved. The breakfast sausage and bacon are great too. Overall, great empanadas w/ excellent outer crust, however, in my opinion the fillings are too little.
