Review: Evo Studios is fantastic! Great service from start to finish and would recommend anyone in the area to utilize their services if the need arises. They walked me through the entire process as well as pricing, so there were no unexpected surprises. This is my second time I’ve went to Evo for my car needs and can’t recommend them enough.

Review: I did some research and reached out to Evolve after purchasing my 2019 VW GLI to tint the windows. I heard high praise for the Xpel product line through forums and youtube and decided to find the highest rated vendor in my area to apply the tint. That vendor in the north Orange County area is Evolve Film Concepts.
When I called, Dan was friendly and professional. He let me know when he had a time available and quoted me competitive prices after I let him know that I have been calling around and comparing prices. I decided to pull the trigger and headed to Los Alamitos.
When I arrived, Dan (one of the owners) greeted me and congratulated my purchase. He let me know that due to VW’s tight build quality, the application might take a little longer than usual. I told him that it was fine and I appreciated the transparency. Dan talked me through my options, the pros and cons of the levels of protection and types of film, and answered all my questions with expertise and patience. I decided to go with 2nd to darkest for the rear passengers and windshield and the next one up for the front. I also went with the lightest heat rejection film for my front windshield (although he did warn me that this was also on the same legal level as the front windows, it’s a fix-it ticket).
Dan said that him and his partner (Logan) would tint my car because they had experience with the newer Jettas and said that it would be around 3 to 4 hours. I decided to wait in their lounge which was surprisingly comfortable decked out with a large tv, comfortable sectional sofa, multiple game consoles, roku, netflix, coffee, water, Japanese auto mags, and I even think there was a golden retriever puppy, just chillin.
The job took 3.5 hours which I didn’t notice because I took a nap (seriously comfy sofa). Dan told me that it would have been done 30 minutes before if he hadn’t made a small imperfection on the rear windshield and decided to do it all over perfectly and apologized (this man takes his work and his lifetime guarantee seriously).
I was very impressed with the end result. The tint looked exactly how I wanted it to.
Since then, I have gone back and installed performance protective film (PPF or “clear-bra”) to the front bumper, head lights, and the rear trunk deck due to having a black car (and at the recommendation of Dan).
Dan is an auto enthusiast, a gear head, if you will. He works with a team of like minded craftsmen that deliver high end results. I cannot recommend Evolve Film Concepts enough.

Review: This is the best place you can get your car/truck window tinted, wrapped or protection film applied.
This is my 3rd vehicle getting window tinted with Evo Studios. Now I’m adding on protection film to my truck rear bed. I working home remodeling and my rear bed always get scratches from tools and such. But adding the protection film gives me that peace of mind and added protection from scratches.
Dan and his crew was very informative, patient and really took care of my truck. You really get what you pay for… but at Evo, they provide so much more for the price.
I will always go to Evo Studios. Don’t waste time… just go to the best place in the OC!

Review: I looked around for a tint shop that had good reviews when I was in the market to get the windows tinted on my 2021 Toyota 4Runner. I sent several e-mails out through Yelp, and got quick replies from a few of the companies. I read through several of the reviews, trying to find a place that looked like they would do a good job. I received prompt replies from Dan and Logan from Evolve Film Concepts. Logan provided a detailed pricing breakdown of the different types of films that they offered. I reached out to them early on a Saturday morning to see about setting up an appointment for sometime later in the week. Logan replied that if I were able, I could drop off my 4Runner, and he would work on it in between other jobs that he had scheduled, and get it done by 6:00 pm. I drove out there, and Logan showed me the different types of films that they offered. I ended up going with the Xpel Prime XR at 30% on all windows except the front windshield. I dropped off my 4Runner around 11:00 am, and got a Lyft back to my house. I got a call from Logan around 4:00 pm letting me know that the 4Runner was ready. I was shocked that it was ready earlier than expected. I ordered another Lyft, and headed back to Evolve Film Concepts.
I met Logan at the shop, and he said the 4Runner was ready. Now, I’ve had several vehicles before, and I’ve been to several different tint shops to get the windows tinted. I typically find stray pieces of film left behind in the car when I go to pick them up. The other thing that I would find were water streaks on the interior door panels from the installers spraying down the interior window. Boy, was I in for a surprise today. I went out to my 4Runner, and Logan asked me to take a look to see what I thought. I opened up the doors only to find the inside of the 4Runner just as clean as when I dropped it off. No stray pieces of scrap film, no streaks on the interior door panels, no random pieces of clear film wrapper on the floorboard….nothing….and to top it all off, the tint job came out GREAT! I couldn’t be happier with how the work turned out. I will be taking all of my vehicles back to Evolve Film Concepts so that Logan, Dan, and the rest of the team can give me that superior level of customer service that I’m looking for.
