They expertly installed my blackvue 970x dashcam and powermagic battery, avoided the airbags and kept all the wires out of view. ****That is what is important***. The remainder of what I have to say below is minor only so if you want a quality install then ignore what I say below. I docked 1 star for the following: 1. They forgot to put back a piece of car insulation after install. When I asked them, they couldn’t remember where it was supposed to go. I didn’t appreciate that. 2. They forgot to give me the unused cigarette power adapters—why is this important? Because when you sell the car and take the dashcam out, you may need the cigarette power adapters to temporarily power the dashcam in your new car. I had to drive back there just to pick that up—slightly annoying. 3. They only open 9-5pm on weekdays. They’re not open on Saturdays; however everyone else is(A1 auto and tint, acedashcam as some examples etc). So for those of us who work on the weekdays, it’s hard to get there. 4. They don’t answer your emails in a timely manner. They answer like 2-3 days later—slightly annoying when you’re trying to compare prices between them and competitors. As an fyi, their competitors answer emails almost immediately and their prices were cheaper than Sorena. So why did I choose Sorena if I had so many minor issues with them? 1. They had stellar reviews—yes I know online reviews aren’t necessarily accurate but in their case they deserve high marks for service and quality. 2. Many competitors(mostly auto tint or car sound places) didn’t specialize in dashcams. I didn’t want some random guy haphazardly installing the wires wrong and obstructing the airbags. Sorena was actually a name that I had heard someone mention before with a very good outcome. While getting quotes, Sam was the quickest to reply and knew how to ask the right questions. He was patient when I told him I was in the process of initially just getting a few quotes. Even though his price wasn’t necessarily the lowest, the recommendation I got from someone else as well as my conversation with him, made me feel confident that the work that would be done would be of high quality. I set up an appointment and had everything installed. Installation went smoothly and looked incredibly clean. I had some questions after they finished the work because I initially thought they were going to install in a slightly different manner (not Sam’s fault). Thankfully, Sam understood that I wasn’t upset and was just trying to figure out the best use for my situation. Sam took the time to explain and even offered to make the change if I wanted. This is what I call exceptional customer service. My car had a stock cassette player with a 6 CD changer in the trunk. After visiting several car audio install companies, I decided to go with the team at Sorena car audio. I did so because they actually quoted me a great price for a great value. I was able to get a Pioneer stereo with a floating 9″ screen, front and rear cámaras, a new alpine amplifier, two 12″ kicker down fire subwoofer and interior cabin lights for about $1500 less than the competition. They noticed that the previous owner had installed JL Audio speakers in the front and rear of the car, it also had 6″ Rockford fosfate speakers in the doors, so Sam told me not to spend money by changing them because they were very good speakers. I went with them and I’m very happy with the install, the crisp sounds and deep bass. Above all they didn’t try to sell me new speakers like the others guys, saving me quite a bit. The outcome was outstanding! Very clean, Nice waiting area to relax while work is getting done, Friendly staff. Very fair pricing, especially for the level of quality. Last week I got a sub and amp installed into my new 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands. Sam was very helpful and advised I not do what I had initially had in mind as it would very likely create some rattling either right away or at least at some point down the road. Instead he recommended that I go with a Kicker 800w mono amp and a Kicker 10″ setup that is a solid downward firing sub enclosure so that it would take up little of my valuable trunk space. This box is pretty sweet, it’s a Kicker 10″ Comp RT sub with what they call a Passive Radiator (looks like a second sub that is beside the Comp RT sub). I don’t know in great detail how this works, but Sam told me it basically gives you many of the benefits of the sound you would get from a Ported sub box, while being sealed and not giving you the downsides of a ported box. Best of both worlds! I was skeptical, but, he was absolutely right. This setup HITS while sounding nice and clean. I’m very happy with the way this set-up sounds. Sam and his team did a fantastic job with the install, making it look very clean and professional.
