I picked up my new Tesla Y on a Friday. I messaged the company on Saturday, they responded right away but I couldn’t talk. They followed up the next morning (Sunday). Ella sent over a quote right away and scheduled an appointment for the next morning to meet with the owner Chico. I was so impressed with this business. They’re all very very nice, the price was more than fair. I dropped my car off Monday and had it back in time for our 13 hour road trip. Once we got to Arizona I just used a little water on a microfiber cloth to clean the bugs off and my baby looks amazing! I had PPF with Ceramic Coating Exterior and Interior (two boys and a large dog can do damage)! Photos are after our roadtrip and a little touch up! Side note: I don’t expect any business to have text exchanges in the evenings, early mornings and Sundays but grateful for their interest in my business. After calling around everywhere in the Bay area I landed on Dynamic Customs. They had the best price, with the best PPF material. I made an appointment online, received text message notifications, placed my deposit, and even changed my order to add in front window tint. The communication with Dynamic Customs was seamless. They reached out immediately to confirm my appointment. I drop my car off and after about 1.5 weeks I got my car back in pristine condition. It literally looked better than new. When I arrived, I was graciously walked around my car to learn more about the installation process and how to care for the PPF for the next month, while it sets. In addition to the lifetime of the protection (PPF comes with warranty). Overall very informative staff, kind, punctual, communicates well, and even has great music playing in the shop :). Overall workmanship is a A+ (coming from a picky owner). I would definitely recommend Dynamic Customs and will be back again! I had recently bought a few cars and was looking for a place to do ceramic coating and PPF for both. I wanted the job done right, and was willing to drive 50+ miles to go to the best shop. I spoke to a few shops and got quotes for services with a fairly wide range, but then I decided to check for local installers, and Dynamic customs came up. I had a phone call with Chico, who was very friendly and was more consultant than salesperson. He did a good job of laying out options and not overselling on things I wouldn’t need for my style of driving. I felt from his professionalism and demonstrated expertise that they were worth a try. Ella helped schedule and manage appointments. They booked me about 2 weeks out. I had full frontal PPF and ceramic coat on the brute exterior. It took a week from the day I dropped it off to when I picked it up. Good work takes time, so be patient and have a plan for how you’ll get around while your car is being worked on. For the pickup, I met with Mo. Mo was welcoming and patient, letting us take plenty of time to look the car over and get a feel for the work that was done. It looked excellent. Washing the car is a breeze and only takes about 10 minutes. From there, I can spend as much time as I want detailing further, but it’s great to have a great looking car that’s easy to keep up. The PPF work is very precise. My car had some areas where the film started to come up on the rear view mirrors and the team at Dynamic customs were very helpful and proactive with making it right. My other car went similarly smoothly. There was an issue with the park sensors alarming after the film was installed, but I drove back almost immediately and Mo expertly cut out the PPF around the sensors which resolved the problem. One thing I wish I knew in advance was that the ceramic coat I got only had a 3-year warranty. I thought I was getting a 10-year, but that was not the case. If I had to do it again, I’d be more careful about comfirming the package with a written quote, as this whole process happened verbally over the phone with only appointments and updates happening over text message. It’s totally possible they were clear about this and I missed it, but still, written quotes with package details would probably be a helpful addition. The other part that’s kind of disappointing is that I lost out on a discount by having my other car done right after the first. I was offered 30% a future ceramic coat/ PPF package for an honest review, but I can’t use it now that both of my cars have been serviced here. That’s fairly significant as each car was $2,400, for full frontal PPF and ceramic coat on the whole exterior, so it’s essentially $720 I could have saved by waiting a few extra weeks. For what it’s worth, when I asked about the second car, there was no discount offered for repeat business. With that in mind, I’d recommend waiting to do extra work to see if other discounts are offered since you won’t gain. The work was of good quality and I believe it was worth what I paid, but that was the only rough part of an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, they’re a solid team who does excellent quality work. I get the impression that they are a relatively newer business that is still figuring out some administrative components, but they have a good product and stellar work ethic. I’d recommend them if you need a good Ceramic coat / PPF installer. Just be patient and don’t schedule all of your cars at once if you want to save money, as there are no volume discounts and get all of your estimates in writing so you fully know what package(s) you’re ordering.
