Review: I recently purchased a Pre-Owned 2023 Model Y, Black/Black, stock with the 20 inch induction wheels. The overall body was in pretty good shape less a few soft scratches and minor rock chips on the bumper/hood. I wanted to get a full front PPF, Ceramic Coating, tint the headlights and taillights and do some updating on the car. I wanted to be sure the PPF was Xpel, which is rated the best in the industry. Xtreme Edge is one of only a few shops who is an authorized Xpel dealer. I can say I am a very meticulous, detailed orientated, type A personality. I have applied these traits in everything I’ve done in my professional career and personal life. My cars are no different. This is why I chose Xtreme Edge Auto Detail.
Before I decided to come here, I visited four other 5 Star rated detail shops in OC to get estimates. I wanted to physically go there to measure/gauge the person who I spoke to to see if they were knowledgeable or just trying to “Sell a Package”. I also wanted to observe their shop/employees (see how clean/dirty/organized), see what type of vehicles they were working on, how busy they were etc. Then I visited Xtreme Edge.
After speaking to Leo and the other 4 shops, it was a no brainer. Leo stood above the rest. Unlike the others, he spent the time with me looking at my Model Y, and provided recommendations on the PPF and Ceramic Coating along with explaining and informing me in detail what each does and how it protects your Tesla. He looked at the scratches and rock chips and was fully transparent on what they could do with these through the process. I also told him I had some updates I wanted to do to the interior and exterior (red emblems, rear spoiler, Alcantara dash/door covers) and asked him if they could do it for me. He said no problem, they would take care of it. He quoted me a price that was very reasonable compared to the other detail shops. I booked them with no hesitation.
I picked up my Model Y on Saturday and I could not believe the transformation from before I brought it in to after. (see the attached photos). I walked with Allen as he went over the car with me inside and out. The car was so shiny and glossy due to the Ceramic Coating. They did a great job on the updates. (see attached photos). I was pleased with the results. And remember, my Model Y is a Pre-Owned. The photos don’t lie. This is what they do, High Quality Work. They specialize in Teslas, classic and high end vehicles.
I’m going back there this Saturday for Leo/Allen to do a post inspection on the PPF and learn how properly wash the car. I told Allen I was going to pay a mobile hand wash guy $65 to wash my Tesla. He told me save the money. They will show me how to wash it myself and what to buy, which is minimal. Shoots, I’m in.
If you have a new or Pre-Owned Tesla, or any vehicle, and you are looking to tint, PPF, Ceramic Coat, do updates/customizations, don’t waste your time going to the other shops. I’ve spent the time and have done the research for you. Come to Xtreme and speak to Leo or Allen. Both are so humble, honest, intelligent, knowledgeable, nice, patient, and informative. They drop what their doing when you walk in their shop to provide you Great Service by giving you their undivided attention. They both make you feel comfortable as if you are a guest in their home. You will feel like a family member. Their staff is great also. They engaged with me when I walked their shop also providing me recommendations for my Model Y. This shows they love their job and they care. This is why they are so busy and a majority of their vehicles they work on are Teslas. Thank you Allen and Leo for taking care of my Model Y. I will be recommending Xtreme to all my friends, family and co-workers. You guys are great and the best in the business.

They really took the time to not only do the job well but also to teach you how to wash and maintain the car afterward. They are responsive, flexible and professional.
