I almost went with a cheaper Groupon tint but I’m glad I didn’t. The Groupon place had a 1 year warranty which was a red flag for me, so I reached out to Genesis which I found on Facebook and then spoke with Sid on the phone. Found out they have a lifetime warranty. No more Llumar (as of my visit on 3/15/2023). Great customer service and high quality work. I just wished the information provided to me had been more accurate. I had an excellent experience with Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle tint before. Unfortunately, the shop I previously used no longer does automotive tint, so I used the Llumar Dealer Search and found Genesis Window Tinting. I used the contact form on their website, received a very detailed quote for Llumar F1 Pinnacle tint within 1 business day, and was able to schedule an installation appointment that same week. Once I arrived, however, I was informed by Esmy that this location only does XPEL tint while their Roseville location does Llumar. I was a little caught off-guard but was lucky to have learned enough about XPEL beforehand (coincidentally) and be comfortable having it installed. I probably could’ve had XPEL installed for around the same price much closer to home in the Bay Area, but I was already there. I ended up choosing XPEL Prime XR Black, 35% front sides, 15% rear sides and rear windshield. I was told the install would take 4-5 hours, and it was done in about 3.5. During a final QC check, they found an imperfection on one of the tinted windows and redid it. Appreciate the attention to detail! Got to meet Sid (the owner) and Joshua (I believe?). They made sure I was comfortable while I waited and offered to check on the status of my car. It’s been a week since the install and everything is great so far.
