But they give you a “cash price” estimate but if you are paying them your “cash deductible” and then letting insurance pay balance, those are two different prices. I paid them $500 towards a windshield that they told me was around $750. My insurance gave them a check for $572. I don’t know who is screwing who over…but it doesn’t make me feel good about this company. I do believe this goes beyond this one lical shop…. I called them about it this morning and they told me that they got a letter recently that said they weren’t allowed to disclose what they got from insurance?? Star Windshield got us up and going in less than 24 hours! I was impressed with how quickly they got a new window in, even with a dent in the window frame on the car! And the pricing was very reasonable! The employees were very nice too! Great job! I will be recommending people to yall for sure! The main problem and this would have made me not use them if I would have gotten the other quotes sooner .. They was extremely over priced and I mean by over a hundred dollars.a glass company quoted the exact same windshield for $180.00 dollars .And at this place I payed $306.00 that’s a$126.00 dollar difference.. Now that is just plane robbery the other glass place was where I would have went if I would have received the quote sooner.. I would not recommend that anyone use Star Windshield Inc .. And the people are friendly and they do good work in a fair amount of time . But that over priced ruined it for me I’ll never use them again .. Because the most important thing is the darn price. Absolutely upsetting to be taken advantage of like that ..I’m a Christian man and I have to forgive them ..but it still is very hurtful to be just flat taken advantage of like that. No excuse for that none at all.
